Brain Puzzle is an iPhone app that swaps doomscrolling for an endless feed of ten-second puzzles. Five kinds of thinking — pattern recognition, odd-one-out, memory chains, timed lightning rounds and a no-pressure Zen mode — feed a Brain Profile across logic, visual, memory, speed and focus. Everything generates on the device, so it works with no connection at all. And when you have done enough for the day, it says so and stops.

Every puzzle feeds one of five tracked skills — logic, visual, memory, speed and focus — and the profile shows the shape of how you actually think, including the axis you have been avoiding.
No ad in the middle of a puzzle. Ever.
Ads exist in the free tier and they appear between puzzles, never during one. Interrupting someone mid-thought to show them a banner is the single most common way this category ruins itself.
Fully offline
Puzzles are generated on the device. There is no feed being served to you, no account needed to play, and nothing to load. It works on a plane, on the underground and with your data switched off.
It teaches you when you're wrong
A wrong answer gets the rule you missed spelled out — then a twin puzzle using the same rule, so you immediately prove you have it. No points are lost. The point is the next one, not punishment for this one.
One daily puzzle, everyone on Earth
A single global challenge each day — the same puzzle for every player — so you can see how your answer and your time compare with everyone else's.
It tells you when to stop
When you've done a real session, the app says so — "That's your day. Go live it" — and shows what you did. It is the only feed you use that is actively trying to end your session.

What is a good brain training app without constant ads?
Brain Puzzle is built around that constraint. The free tier does show ads, but only between puzzles — never during one, and never over a question you are in the middle of thinking about. The Plus subscription removes them entirely at $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year with a seven-day trial.
Does brain training actually make you smarter?
Honestly: the evidence that puzzle games improve general intelligence or transfer to unrelated tasks is weak, and any app that promises you a higher IQ is overselling. What is well supported is that you get better at the specific things you practise, and that ten minutes of puzzles is a better use of a queue than ten minutes of an infinite social feed. That is the claim this app makes and it is the only one it makes.
How long is a session?
Each puzzle takes roughly ten seconds. A normal session is a couple of minutes; a full daily set is under ten. The app is explicitly designed to end — when you have done enough, it tells you so and shows your numbers, rather than loading another one.
Does it work offline?
Completely. Puzzles are generated on your device rather than downloaded, so there is nothing to load and no account needed to start playing. It works in airplane mode, underground, and on a flight.
What is the Brain Profile?
A radar chart across five tracked skills — logic, visual, memory, speed and focus — that fills in as you play, alongside your level, your current streak and your best. It is useful mainly for showing you the axis you have been quietly avoiding.
What kinds of puzzle are there?
Five: Pattern (what comes next), Odd one out (find the tile that breaks the rule), Memory chain (rebuild a sequence from memory), Lightning (timed rounds) and Zen (no timer, no score, no pressure). Which ones you get is mixed daily so no single type dominates.
What does the paid tier add?
Plus removes ads, unlocks unlimited hints, adds deeper analytics and gives you three streak freezes a month. It is $2.99 monthly or $19.99 a year with a seven-day free trial. The puzzles themselves are not paywalled — you are paying to remove friction, not to unlock content.
Is it suitable for children?
It is rated 4+ and there is nothing in it unsuitable for a child. The puzzles scale with ability, so a younger player simply settles at an easier level. Parents should be aware the free tier does show ads between puzzles.
Is there an Android version?
