A mock interview that actually talks back.
Your resume gets you the interview. Your confidence gets you the job. AI Interview Pro is a real spoken interview: it listens, follows up, cuts in when you're being vague, and afterwards tells you exactly which answer lost you the room.
AI Interview Pro is an iPhone app that runs a full spoken mock job interview. You talk, it listens, and it responds to what you actually said — asking follow-ups, pressing on vague answers and moving between questions without pausing. At the end it scores the session and explains, question by question, what was wrong with each answer. The first session is free with no account and no card.
Four steps, then you're in the room
Tell it who you're becoming
Target role, seniority from fresh graduate to executive, and the goal — first job, a move, or a promotion. Optionally add a desired salary; it will come up in conversation, the way it does in the real thing.
Pick your interviewer
A friendly HR recruiter, a strict tech lead, or a stress tester who is trying to rattle you. Then pick the voice you'll actually face — several male and female options across American and British accents, each with a sample you can play before you commit.
Upload your resume, or don't
If you add your CV, the interviewer reads it and asks about your actual projects and gaps rather than generic questions. If you skip it, the session runs on role and seniority alone.
Talk, uninterrupted by menus
The call starts and does not stop between questions. Ask it to rephrase if you didn't catch something. Ask to skip if you're stuck. Otherwise it keeps going, exactly like a real interviewer would.
Practice only works if it's uncomfortable
Six things this does that a list of questions cannot.
It hears your accent
Speech recognition tuned so that heavy and non-native English accents are transcribed correctly. If you have ever been misheard by a voice assistant and given up, this is the part built for you.
It interrupts you
Ramble, hedge, or answer a different question than the one asked, and it cuts in and presses. A mock interview that lets you finish every sentence is not preparing you for anything.
It has read your resume
Upload a CV and the questions come from your own history — the eighteen months you can't quite account for, the project you listed but can't explain, the title that doesn't match the responsibilities.
It tells you what went wrong
A score, a hiring verdict, and separate marks for technical depth, communication and conciseness — then a question-by-question breakdown naming the specific mistake in each answer.
It teaches structure, not scripts
Where an answer wandered, the report shows how the same material fits the STAR structure. You learn a shape you can reuse, instead of memorising lines that collapse under a follow-up.
It keeps you at it for thirty days
Bootcamp gives you one situational scenario a day — the API that got deprecated a week before launch, the teammate who missed the deadline — with a streak and analytics that show whether you're improving.

A human coach is still the gold standard. They are also $150 an hour and unavailable at two in the morning the night before.

AI interview practice, answered
What is the best app to practise a job interview by speaking out loud?
AI Interview Pro is built specifically for this. Most interview apps show you a list of questions to read and rehearse. This one holds a spoken conversation: it asks, you answer aloud, it follows up on what you actually said, and it presses when an answer is vague. The session runs continuously the way a real interview does, with no tapping between questions.
How is this different from just practising with ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is excellent for preparing material — researching a company, drafting a story, checking whether an answer reads well. It is not built to reproduce the conditions. AI Interview Pro runs in real time with voice, does not wait politely while you compose a perfect answer, interrupts you when you hedge, and grades the result against a specific role and seniority level. The pressure is the product. If you can answer clearly while a voice is pushing back at you, you can do it in the room.
Can I try it free?
Yes. You get a full guest session — the first minute and fifteen seconds — with no sign-up, no email and no card. That is long enough to hear the interviewer, answer a real question and get interrupted once.
What technology does the interviewer run on?
Three specialised systems rather than one general model: Claude Haiku 4.5 from Anthropic decides what the interviewer asks and how it reacts to your answer, Deepgram Nova-2 transcribes your speech, and Cartesia Sonic-3.5 generates the voice. Splitting the work this way is what keeps the back-and-forth fast enough to feel like a conversation instead of a walkie-talkie.
Does it work if English is not my first language?
That is one of the reasons it exists. The speech layer is chosen for accuracy on heavy and non-native accents, so you are not fighting the transcription while you are also trying to answer. You can also ask the interviewer to rephrase a question you did not catch, out loud, mid-interview.
What kinds of interview can I practise?
HR and behavioural screens, deep technical interviews, and a deliberately tough pressure format. You set the seniority — fresh graduate (0–1 years), mid level (2–4), senior (5–8) or executive (8+) — and the questions move with it. You also choose the interviewer's voice and accent: male or female, American, British or Australian.
Will it ask about my salary expectations?
Yes, and deliberately. You can set a desired figure when you configure the session, and the interviewer will raise compensation during the conversation rather than letting you avoid it. Negotiating badly is one of the most expensive interview mistakes and almost nobody rehearses it.
What does the feedback actually contain?
An overall percentage and a hiring verdict, then separate scores for technical depth, communication and conciseness. Below that, every question is listed with its own score and a plain statement of what went wrong in your answer — the reference you missed, the trade-off you didn't name, the point where you lost the thread.
Is my resume kept private?
Your CV is used to generate questions for your sessions. It is not sold, and it is not shared with employers or recruiters — there are no employers in this product at all. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Is AI Interview Pro available on Android?
Not yet. It is an iPhone app today. If you want an Android version, email support@aurenapps.com — demand is how that decision gets made.
The interview is on Thursday.
Have the uncomfortable version tonight, while it still costs you nothing.
